RKR Protection Investments offers a unique service. We stock only a small quantity of firearms, which keeps our overhead very low. We offer a special order service, where you can custom order your desired firearm through our business at a reduced price. Because we buy only what the customer wants, our costs are kept to a minimum which allows us to pass these savings onto you. We deal with a number of firearm and hunting supply wholesalers in an effort to bring you the best selection of products at the most affordable price.
Our special order service does require pre-payment of your order, and will include the shipping and transfer fees* at time of sale. This means that once the order is shipped, there will be no additional cost to you.
*Firearm sales will require a NICS background check immediately prior to pick-up, anyone failing to meet the ATF requirements for firearm ownership will not be allowed to complete the sale. To learn more about the NICS requirements visit: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/nics
Due to the high demand for firearms and ammunition, some orders may take in excess of six months, and on rare occasions, up to a year to fill, depending on product selected and manufacturers availability. Also with several manufacturers attempting to relocate to friendlier firearm states, we anticipate that some lines/models will be temporarily unavailable.
Transfers
When buying firearms online, from retailers or other out of state dealers it is required to have your firearm shipped to a FFL dealer who can finalize the transfer. RKR Protection Investments makes the transfer easy to complete, and even easier if you have a Texas CHL.
1. Purchase your firearm from a remote dealer and complete the form below. We will handle it from there.
2. When your firearm arrives, we will contact you to come complete the transfer. This includes completing the background checks and obtaining a completed ATF form 4473. If you currently possess a valid Texas CHL, a background check is not required to process the transfer.
RKR Protection Investments can handle all of your firearm transfer needs. Please note that we do charge a low fee of $20 per firearm transferred.
